@AzIrliG examples

The soft liG is easy to spot because it has yA या before /parasmaipada and sI सी before /Atmanepada.

The /AzIrliG is soft by liGAziSi. Rule kartarizap applies only to the hards, so we don't get /zap or any /vikaraNa before it. So in the /AzIrliG

bhU भू + soft /liG /tip → **bhUyAt भूयात्

labh लभ् + soft /liG /ta → **lapsISTa लप्सीष्ट

but in the /vidhiliG

bhU भू + /tip → **bhavet भवेत्

labh लभ् + /ta → **labheta लभेत

Examples with /tip, a /parasmaipada.

paTh + /liGpaTh + /tip
paTh + /yAsuT + /tip by yAsuTparasm...
paTh + yAs + t by itazca
paTh + yAs + st by suTtithoH
(now liGassalop... won't apply, because yAsst is soft)
paTh + yAst by skossaMyogAdy... applied to s s before serious t
paTh + yAt again by skossaMyogAdy... applied to padafinal st
(now atoyeyaH won't apply because yAt is soft)
!**paThyAt "may he recite"

With /tas "they two" —

paTh + /liGpaTh + /tas
paTh + yAs + /tas by yAsuTparasm...
paTh + yAs + tAm by tasthasthamip...
paThyAsstAm by suTtithoH
paThyAstAm by skossaMyogAdy... of s s before serious t
paThyAstAm "may they two recite"

Similarly, with /thas / /tha, we get paThyAstam "may you two recite" and paThyAsta "may y'all recite".
