@bent raw liG ending

The bent raw liG endings are these nine —

/Atmanepada

sta स्त AstAm आस्ताम् /ran
sthAs स्थास् AsthAm आस्थाम् /dhvam
/a /vahi /mahi

The /parasmaipada get yA(s) from yAsuTparasm..., or sometimes iy इय् from atoyeyaH.

The /Atmanepada get (s)I(y) from liGassIyuT in the soft liG.

See also hard liG endings and soft liG endings.

Where do these endings come from?

The basic /tiG endings (see tiptasjhisipth...) are:

/Atmanepada

/ta /AtAm /jha
/thAs /AthAm /dhvam
/iT' /vahi /mahi

Then these changes happen only in the /liG

* /jha becomes /ran by jhasyaran

* /iT' becomes /a by iTot

* /ta /AtAm /thAs /AthAm are affected by suTtithoH

So, only /dhvam, /vahi and /mahi keep their basic form.
