@flat soft liG overview

Rule yAsuTparasm... adds yAs in front of these, making them into yAst , yAstAm , yAss , yAsus , yAss etc. Then, rule suTtithoH adds some extra s to some. In the hard liG all s where deleted by liGassalop..., but here, liGassalop... does not work, so that the s of yAs stays, and the sandhi rule skossaMyogAdy... deletes the s from suTti , and the first s of yAss and yAst .

Soft:

dviS + **yAt' → **dviSyAt' "may he hate", not same as **dviSyAt

dviS + **yAs' !**dviSyAs'

dviS + **yAsam !**dviSyAsam

Hard:

dviS + **yAt → **dviSyAt

dviS + **yAs !**dviSyAs

dviS + **yAm !**dviSyAm

See also some parasmaipada liG verbs.

Why don't **dviSyAt' **dviSyAt etc. get gbS or gbH, not even before hard /tip /sip /mip?

Because rule yAsuTparasm... makes them /Git, and that makes kGitica debar /guNa.
