For padafinal as अस् see sandhi of as before consonant.

For padafinal As आस् see sandhi of aas before consonant.

All the other padafinal s स् have the same sound changes as if they were r र्, with the only exception of s स् and r र् before /sup' — r र् before /sup' makes rSu र्षु, while s स् before /sup' makes either "ssu" or "Hsu", preferably the former (see rossupi, vAzari).
