Changes of the final s स् that is not part of as अस् As आस्, and of the final r र्, before /haz.

The s स् that is not part of as अस् As आस् first becomes r र् by sasajuSoruH, then that r र् changes as if it were a natural r र्.

r र् stays before all /haz except r र्, by no rules.

**gurus गुरुस् + **vadati वदति → gururvadati गुरुर्वदति, by sasajuSoruH

r र् disappears before another r र्, by rori.

**nadIs नदीस् + **rakSati रक्षति

→ nadIrakSati नदीरक्षति by sasajuSoruH and rori
