This tu तु is the /loT /tip, changed by eruH, as in **bhavatu भवतु.

This /hi''' is the /loT /sip, changed by serhyapicca, as in **dviDDhi द्विड्ढि.

So for "live long" we may optionally say —

jIvatAd bhavAn जीवताद्भवान्

jIvatAt tvam जीवतात्त्वम्

instead of —

jIvatu bhavAn जीवतु भवान्

jIva tvam जीव त्वम्
