Judy Thompson - Three Secrets You Need to Know About Spoken English

Wait, I'm a native speaker of English. Isn't "bidduvegg" supposed to be grammatically incorrect, or dialectal, or colloquial, or at least sloppy? Doesn't grammar teach that we should say "bit - of - egg" slowly, taking care to separate the consonant of one word from the vowel of the next? I personally don't do that, but I have been told that I *should* do it.

Sorry, I don't know. Feel free to ask me about Sanskrit grammar, however.
