The /kRt affix "vin" has two real letters, "vi वि", and forms darvis दर्विस् and jAgRvis जागृविस्.

So it is unlike "kvin" and other vi वि affixes where the i इ is FEOP, and is unaffected by verapRktasya.

That /vin is not /kGit, so why is there no /guNa from hardsoft in **jAgRvis जागृविस्?
