@vowel space consonant

When you see vowel space consonant in print, there has been no sound change, with two exceptions —

(1) If an A आ is before a /haz letter, that A आ MIGHT be an As आस् that lost its s स् by bhobhagoagh..., as in —

But it can be a true A आ too —

(2) when a vowel is before cch च्छ्, that cch च्छ् used to be ch छ् and one of the rules checa ff lengthened the ch छ् into cch च्छ्.
