Use dual singular to mean two one.

Example. When meaning two horses, we use a dual /sup, such as /au, after nounbase **azva- अश्वॱ, like this —

**azva- अश्वॱ + /au → **azvau अश्वौ

And when meaning that two run, the roots sR सृ "run" or dru द्रु "run" get a dual /tiG, like /tas or /AtAm

dru द्रु + /laT /tasdru द्रु + /zap + /tas!**dravatas द्रवतस् "both run"

sR सृ + /laT /tassR सृ + /zap + /tasdhau धौ + /laT /tas by pAghrAdhmAsthAmn...!**dhAvatas धावतस् "both run"

But when one is meant, we use a singular /sup or /tiG, like /su, /am, /tip, /ta

**azva- अश्वॱ + /su → **azvas अश्वस् "horse"

**azva- अश्वॱ + /am → **azvam अश्वम् " o horse", when **azvam अश्वम् needs second (as in azvam pazyAmi अश्वम्पश्यामि "I see a horse")

pac पच् + /laT /tip → **pacati पचति "is cooking"

pac पच् + objectshowing /laT /ta → **pacyate पच्यते "is being cooked"

What if more than two run?
