@harvard-kyoto transcription

In these pages, I use the HK transcription of Sanskrit mostly as described in the harvard-kyoto wikipedia page.

But I have changed a few things.

One, in the official HK, the word **kLpta- क्ऌप्तॱ must be spelled klRpta- क्लृप्तॱ. I don't like that, so I spell it as **kLpta- क्ऌप्तॱ instead.

Two, I add "::" whenever two vowels are next to each other, but in different syllables.

Three, I use "-" and ";" to split compounds. The semicolon is used only for the /dvandva.

Notice that I never split compounds when that wold involve undoing a merge. So I type rAjendra राजेन्द्र, not rAja-indram, and **maharSi- महर्षिॱ, not mahA-RSi.
