Why do you translate "/laG"? The /jus appears in the /liG also, and nothing in this sUtra, nor inheritance, prevents it from working in the /liG.

Not true. All rules that replace with /guNa are debarred by kGitica, and /liG /jhi happens to be /Git because of the Gicca ङिच्च in yAsuTparasm.... So, there is no /guNa in —
