@finding verb classes

How do I find the class number of a root? Do I have to memorize the whole /dhAtupATha?

If you type kSip क्षिप् into the auroville dictionary it will tell you that it is class six root. Don't forget to set it to Kyoto-Harvard in the dropdown box at the top left.

Also if you type kSipati क्षिपति into the inria reader it will tell you that ksipati क्सिपति is a verb, that it has root kSip क्षिप्, that kSip क्षिप् is a class six root, and that it has /laT replaced with the third person singular flat verb ending, namely /tip.

When inria reader fails (a common event), use hyderabad morphological analyzer.
